The SMARTSHIFT robot system is a mechanical robot tool changer that allows for easy tool exchange through the horizontal movement of the robot arm. Tool changes do not require electricity or air, enabling simple tool changes utilizing the linear motion of the robot arm. It is compact and lightweight, allowing for quick tool exchanges by the robot as well as one-touch manual exchanges by humans. Various end effectors that use electricity or air can be attached, enabling a single robot to efficiently perform multiple tasks. The SMARTSHIFT robot system maximizes the benefits of robot implementation and contributes to increased productivity. We have now added a new type (HD type) with a payload capacity of 150 kg (three times that of conventional models). It can accommodate heavy large tools such as welding guns and nut runners, making it suitable for various tasks including welding, grinding, and screw tightening.
